Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) Testing Center

The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is an independent regulatory body in Ontario responsible for enforcing safety standards across various sectors, including fuel systems, pipelines, pressure vessels, and boilers. The TSSA certifies welders for work in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and power generation.

The Institute of Technical Trades Toronto is a Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) test center, offering testing and certification for welders.

Testing is available at the Institute’s Toronto welding facilities, Monday through Friday. Tests must be booked in advance by contacting us at (416) 750-1950.

ITT Programs Include TSSA Testing

As an accredited TSSA test centre, the Institute of Technical Trades (ITT) offers TSSA testing to students.

Our programs integrate TSSA certification tests into the practical training curriculum to equip students with essential welding skills and expertise, and ensure compliance with national and provincial safety and quality standards.
